SAP ERP Support Team Leader

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Support Team Leader to lead our SAP support team in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the SAP support team, ensuring timely and effective resolution of SAP-related issues, and driving process improvements to optimize SAP system performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP support team to provide timely and effective resolution of SAP-related issues
• Develop and implement process improvements to optimize SAP system performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize SAP-related projects and initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Develop and manage the SAP support team’s budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards
• Analyze and resolve complex SAP-related issues, including system errors, data inconsistencies, and integration problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP support, with a focus on ERP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, etc.)
• Proven experience in leading a support team, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality support services
• Excellent knowledge of SAP modules, including FI, CO, MM, SD, HR, and PP
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Certification in SAP ERP support or a related field is an added advantage
• Proficiency in Amharic and English is required; knowledge of other local languages is an added advantage
