Job Title: Recruitment & Capacity Building Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment & Capacity Building Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing recruitment strategies, identifying training needs, and developing capacity building programs to enhance the skills and performance of our employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and job offers
• Identify training needs and develop capacity building programs to enhance employee skills and performance
• Design and deliver training programs, workshops, and coaching sessions
• Collaborate with department heads to understand recruitment and training needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, and other recruitment sources
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and capacity building programs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment, training, and capacity building
• Proven track record of successful recruitment and capacity building programs
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management software
• Certificate in human resources, training, or a related field is an advantage
• Membership in a professional association, such as the Ethiopian Human Resource Management Association, is an added advantage
