Project Cashier Accountant

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Cashier Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling project finances, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial support to project teams. Key Responsibilities

• Manage project financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and receipts
• Prepare and review project financial reports, including budget versus actual analysis and variance reports
• Develop and maintain project financial models and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures
• Provide financial support and guidance to project teams
• Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and finance teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a project-based environment
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations
• Proficiency in financial management software, such as SAP or Oracle
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Fluency in Amharic and English is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
