Job Title: Power BI Developer II

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer II to join our team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Power BI. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
• Develop and maintain data models, data visualization, and data storytelling using Power BI
• Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data pipelines and architectures
• Optimize and troubleshoot Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability
• Develop and maintain documentation for Power BI solutions and best practices
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and features

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in business intelligence development, with a focus on Power BI
• Proven experience in designing and developing Power BI reports and dashboards
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and data storytelling principles
• Experience with data pipeline development and data architecture
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
• Certification in Power BI or related technologies is an added advantage
• Proficiency in English and Amharic is required, with knowledge of other local languages being an added advantage
