Job Title: Office Assistant
Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the office, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors
- Manage and maintain office records, files, and databases, both physical and digital
- Perform various tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and binding documents
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff members
- Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital
- Assist with budgeting, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Maintain the office’s social media presence and website, as required
Requirements
- Diploma or Certificate in Secretarial Science, Office Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution
- At least 1 year of experience in an office administration role, preferably in a similar industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide support to colleagues as needed
- Fluency in Amharic and English; knowledge of other local languages is an asset
- High school diploma or equivalent from a recognized Ethiopian institution, plus a certificate in a related field, may also be considered
