Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Affairs Medical Representative to join our team in Jimma, Ethiopia. As a Medical Representative, you will be responsible for promoting our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and providing medical and scientific information to support the safe and effective use of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and other medical staff
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and pharmacy owners
- Provide medical and scientific information to support the safe and effective use of our products, including responding to medical inquiries and providing educational materials
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and developments in the field, and share this knowledge with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and regulatory affairs, to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collect and analyze data on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform business decisions and optimize sales strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian healthcare system, medical practices, and pharmaceutical regulations
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform business decisions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving business objectives and delivering results
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently to Jimma and surrounding areas
