Job Title: Master Charging Station Supervisor/Electrical Team Lead

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Master Charging Station Supervisor/Electrical Team Lead to oversee the installation, maintenance, and operation of electric vehicle charging stations across Ethiopia. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of electrical technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and providing technical expertise to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of electrical technicians to ensure efficient and safe installation, maintenance, and operation of electric vehicle charging stations
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, procedures, and protocols to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues, improve processes, and optimize charging station performance
  • Provide technical training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Prepare and submit technical reports, including installation, maintenance, and performance data

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on electrical power systems, electrical installations, or a related field
  • Proven experience in leading a team of electrical technicians, with a strong track record of achieving results and driving team performance
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electrical safety, and power systems
  • Familiarity with Ethiopian electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and electrical engineering software, such as AutoCAD or ETAP
  • Certification in electrical engineering or a related field, such as a registered engineer (PE) or a certified electrical technician, is an advantage
