Business Unit Description
The Financial and Market Linkage Solutions unit is Kifiya’s commercial engine, responsible for translating its AI-enabled financial infrastructure into deployed capital and sustainable revenue. It drives partner bank growth, optimizes liquidity utilization, and scales MSME lending, embedded finance, invoice finance, asset finance, and agri-finance solutions. Operating across institutional, regional, and field execution layers, FMLS ensures risk-aligned expansion while converting platform capabilities into measurable financial impact at scale.
Position Summary
The Manager, Product Planning and Rollout MSME Financing leads the end-to-end design, commercialization, and performance management of Kifiya’s MSME financing vertical.
The role owns the full BPaaS solution for MSMEs and the overall product lifecycle from segment strategy and credit structuring to rollout governance, portfolio monitoring, and optimization. It ensures MSME lending solutions are capital-efficient, AI-enabled, risk-aligned, and scalable across multiple partner banks and distribution channels.
This role converts Kifiya’s data-driven credit decisioning capabilities into high-performing MSME lending portfolios that drive capital velocity, financial inclusion, and sustainable returns. The role leads growth across Kifiya’s financial solutions portfolio for MSMEs, including bank-powered digital credit, embedded finance (BNPL and inventory credit), and invoice finance. It holds responsibility for product direction, customer journeys, and commercialization of customer-facing solutions, while ensuring strong portfolio quality and long-term partner value.
Working at the intersection of product, risk, technology, and operations, the role builds and scales strategic partnerships with banks and ecosystem players, leads growth and partnership teams, and delivers sustainable, risk-managed revenue growth across MSME, Invoice, and Embeded-financing markets.
The role is responsible for driving portfolio expansion, forging strategic alliances, and delivering sustainable revenue growth. It leads market expansion initiatives, builds and manages partnerships with banks and ecosystem players, and identifies new customer acquisition channels to scale loan origination. The role oversees growth strategy execution, ensures strong product–market alignment, and drives performance optimization while fostering close collaboration across risk, operations, and technology teams. Additionally, it monitors portfolio quality, revenue performance, and partner productivity to ensure scalable, profitable, and risk-aligned growth.
Key Responsibilities
MSME Product Strategy and Segment Design
Define target MSME segments, use cases, and lending propositions.
Structure working capital, inventory credit, embedded finance, and digital loan offerings.
Identify underserved MSME segments and ecosystem-led opportunities.
Develop business cases and financial models for product investments and scale decisions.
Leads growth across Kifiya’s financial solutions portfolio for MSMEs, including bank-powered digital credit, embedded finance (BNPL and inventory credit), and invoice finance.
Responsible for product direction, customer journeys, and commercialization of customer-facing solutions, while ensuring strong portfolio quality and long-term partner value.
Drive the strategy, execution, and performance of lending and financial services targeted at MSMEs.
Design and implement MSME credit products, ensuring alignment with market needs, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
Tracks performance metrics, analyzes portfolio trends, and implements initiatives to drive sustainable growth, financial inclusion, and profitability within the MSME segment.
Capital Deployment and P&L Management
Own MSME financing vertical P&L performance.
Align portfolio growth with liquidity availability and capital allocation strategy.
Drive capital efficiency, margin optimization, and sustainable yield performance.
Support revenue forecasting and budget management.
Credit Architecture and Risk Governance
Translate AI credit scoring into segment-specific underwriting structures.
Define risk-tiered pricing and portfolio segmentation frameworks.
Monitor portfolio performance including PAR, NPL, disbursement growth, and repayment trends.
Collaborate with Risk and Analytics teams to continuously refine credit models.
Rollout and Cross-Functional Coordination
Lead phased rollout strategies across partner banks and distribution channels.
Align with Growth & Partnerships teams for institutional activation.
Coordinate with field channel leadership to ensure origination discipline.
Establish SOPs and operational governance frameworks for MSME loan execution.
Portfolio Performance and Optimization
Track portfolio KPIs including capital utilization, repayment reliability, and customer lifetime value.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective measures.
Continuously refine pricing, risk segmentation, and channel performance.
Ecosystem Integration and Embedded Finance
Support integration of MSME financing into e-commerce, merchant networks, and embedded finance ecosystems.
Design scalable distribution models leveraging partner institutions and digital platforms.
Identify partnership opportunities to enhance origination efficiency and repayment reliability.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Monitor market and regulatory trends affecting MSME finance.
Innovate new product variations aligned to market gaps.
Ensure MSME financing remains competitive, compliant, and technologically advanced.

About You
Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
MBA or relevant master’s degree preferred.
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in MSME finance, digital lending, banking transformation, or fintech.
Demonstrated P&L management experience.
Strong exposure to credit risk modeling and portfolio management.
Experience working within multi-bank or ecosystem-driven lending models preferred.
