Job Title: Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment according to established procedures and guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machines
• Monitor machine performance and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production targets and meet deadlines
• Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Participate in training and development programs to improve machine operating skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Diploma or certificate in a relevant field such as mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• At least 2 years of experience in machine operation and maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong knowledge of machine operation and maintenance principles and practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects and stand for long periods
