Junior Quality Controller

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections, identifying defects, and implementing quality control processes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Identify and document defects or non-conformities and report to senior quality control staff
• Implement quality control processes and procedures to prevent defects and improve overall quality
• Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality-related issues and improve efficiency
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities, including inspection reports and test results
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Quality Control, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized Ethiopian university
• 0-2 years of experience in quality control or a related field, with a strong understanding of quality control principles and practices
• Knowledge of quality control standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and document defects or non-conformities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with production staff and senior quality control staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
