Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication of equipment and machinery
• Diagnose and repair faults on equipment and machinery, including electrical and mechanical systems
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and recommend maintenance or repairs as needed
• Assist senior mechanics with complex repairs and maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards and regulations
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and labor hours

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality
• Fluency in Amharic and English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
