Job Title: Junior Mechanic (6 Positions)

Brief Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Junior Mechanics to join our team. As a Junior Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with vehicles and equipment, using specialized tools and equipment
• Conduct safety inspections on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
• Assist senior mechanics with complex repairs and maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and reduce costs

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Mechanics from a recognized institution (TVET or equivalent)
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a garage or workshop setting
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and brakes
• Ability to use specialized tools and equipment, such as scan tools and multimeters
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills, with a strong commitment to safety and quality
