Junior Electrical Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electrical power systems. You will work closely with our senior engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electrical power systems
• Conduct site visits to inspect and test electrical systems, identify problems, and implement solutions
• Prepare and review technical documents, including schematics, diagrams, and reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction teams
• Assist in the preparation of technical specifications, tender documents, and contract documents
• Perform calculations and simulations to optimize electrical system performance and efficiency

Requirements

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• 0-2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a related industry
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electrical power systems
• Familiarity with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in English and Amharic languages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
