Invitation to Express Interest – Strategic Partnership Initiative (Concern Worldwide Ethiopia)

Brief Summary

Concern Worldwide Ethiopia is seeking to establish strategic partnerships with local and international organizations to enhance its programmatic and operational capacities. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Strategic Partnership Initiative and drive the development of innovative and sustainable partnerships that align with our organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with Concern Worldwide Ethiopia’s overall program and operational objectives
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships with local and international organizations, including NGOs, private sector entities, and government agencies
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential partnership opportunities and develop strategic recommendations for senior management
  • Develop and negotiate partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding, and other contractual documents
  • Collaborate with program teams to ensure that partnerships are aligned with program objectives and are effectively integrated into program implementation
  • Represent Concern Worldwide Ethiopia in external forums and events, and build relationships with key stakeholders and partners

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, International Development, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on partnership development, business development, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with local and international organizations
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the Ethiopian context, with knowledge of the country’s development priorities and challenges
  • Experience working with international NGOs, private sector entities, or government agencies is an advantage
