Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Human Resources Manager to lead our HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies and policies to align with the company’s overall mission and vision
• Manage employee relations, including recruitment, selection, training, and development
• Handle employee complaints and grievances, and ensure timely resolution
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including the Ethiopian Labor Law
• Develop and manage the company’s performance management system
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on HR-related matters
• Manage the company’s payroll and benefits administration
• Analyze HR data and provide insights to inform business decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification in HR, such as SHRM or CIPD, is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and regulations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze HR data and provide insights
