Brief Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource professional to join our team at Beleqet Jobs. As an HR, you will play a critical role in managing our company’s human resources, ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment that supports the growth and development of our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent in the industry
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and performance management programs
- Ensure compliance with Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, employee engagement, and conflict resolution
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage employee data, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- At least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a similar industry or sector
- Knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws, regulations, and employment standards
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience with HR management software and systems
- Certification in HR, such as a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or a related designation, is an asset
