As a Helper Mechanic, you will be responsible for assisting senior mechanics in the maintenance and repair of vehicles, equipment, and machinery. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior mechanics in the diagnosis and repair of vehicles, equipment, and machinery
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Use hand tools and equipment to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
• Clean and maintain the work area, tools, and equipment
• Assist in the inspection and testing of vehicles, equipment, and machinery
• Follow safety procedures and protocols when working with vehicles, equipment, and machinery

Requirements

• Completed TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) in automotive mechanics or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience as a helper mechanic or in a related role
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics, electrical systems, and safety procedures
• Ability to use hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, pliers, and multimeters
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy objects and equipment
