Job Title: Fundraising & Partnerships Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising & Partnerships Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to secure funding from a variety of sources, including corporations, foundations, and individual donors. The goal of this role is to build and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners to support our organization’s mission and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet annual targets
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential partners, including corporations, foundations, and individual donors
• Research and identify new fundraising opportunities and partnerships
• Write and submit grant proposals, reports, and other fundraising materials
• Collaborate with the program team to develop project proposals and budgets
• Represent the organization at external events and meetings with partners and stakeholders
• Manage and track fundraising progress, including maintaining accurate records and reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Marketing, or International Development
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fundraising, partnerships, or a related field
• Proven track record of successful fundraising and partnership development
• Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with fundraising software
• Fluency in English and Amharic (written and spoken)
