Job Title: FP&A Analyst
Brief Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled FP&A Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The FP&A Analyst will work closely with the finance team and other stakeholders to provide insightful and actionable financial analysis that drives business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business planning and decision-making
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas of opportunity and risk, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business drivers and develop financial plans that align with organizational objectives
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis, and apply this knowledge to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a similar industry
- Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as CPA or CMA, is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and develop actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Proficiency in financial planning and analysis software, such as Excel, Financial Modeling, and Budgeting tools
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational operations and financial management principles
