Job Title: Finance Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage and oversee the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management
• Manage and oversee the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
• Provide financial analysis and advice to management to inform business decisions
• Manage and oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, including the preparation of financial plans and budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in a similar industry or organization
• Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards in Ethiopia
• Excellent financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights to management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Proficiency in financial management software and systems, including Excel and other accounting packages
