Job Title: Finance Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Finance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, including financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting. The Finance Manager will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organization, and will work closely with senior management to make strategic financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and forecasts
• Oversee and manage financial operations, including accounting, treasury, and financial planning
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to senior management
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws, including tax laws and accounting standards
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, bankers, and financial institutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian financial laws and regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and management skills, with ability to lead and motivate a team
• Proficiency in financial management software and systems, such as ERP and accounting packages
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
