Job Title: Finance Manager

Brief Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Finance Manager to lead our financial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The Finance Manager will play a key role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring the long-term financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives
• Prepare and manage budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports
• Oversee financial planning, accounting, and treasury functions
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and financial standards
• Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other departments
• Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing coaching and development opportunities
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to inform business decisions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a finance management role, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws, financial regulations, and accounting standards
• Excellent financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills
• Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management and other stakeholders
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
