Job Description

Required Qualifications and Experience

 

A. Educational Qualification

 

University Degree (BA/BSc) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
B. Professional Experience

 

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, and administration;
Proven experience in financial management of development projects and programs;
Experience working with NGOs or International Organizations is highly desirable;
Strong knowledge of accounting software, particularly Peachtree (highly advantageous), QuickBooks, or similar systems;
Good understanding and experience in IPSAS (International Public Sector Accounting Standards) or other internationally recognized accounting standards;
High level of proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel and Word) and experience with web-based management systems;
Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
C. Languages

 

Excellent command of spoken and written English and Amharic;
