Job Title: Field/FSL Coordinator

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field/FSL Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing field-level activities, with a focus on Food Security and Livelihoods (FSL) programs. This role will require strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with local communities, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement FSL program activities at the field level, including needs assessments, beneficiary identification, and distribution of assistance
• Develop and maintain relationships with local communities, partners, and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication
• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of program activities, identifying areas for improvement and recommending adjustments as needed
• Provide technical support and guidance to field staff, ensuring that program activities are implemented in accordance with established guidelines and standards
• Collaborate with other teams, including logistics, finance, and administration, to ensure seamless program implementation
• Analyze and report on program data, identifying trends and areas for improvement

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Agriculture, Nutrition, Economics, or Social Sciences, from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in FSL program coordination, preferably with an international NGO or humanitarian organization
• Strong knowledge of FSL principles, practices, and standards, including SPHERE and other relevant guidelines
• Experience in program monitoring and evaluation, including data collection and analysis
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with knowledge of other local languages an asset
• Ability to travel frequently to field locations, often in challenging and remote environments
