Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electromagnetism. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electromagnetism
• Conduct site visits to inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
• Develop and implement electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with Ethiopian electrical codes, regulations, and standards
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Ethiopian university, such as Addis Ababa University or Bahir Dar University
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a similar industry or sector
• Professional certification, such as a license from the Ethiopian Ministry of Water, Irrigation, and Electricity, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian electrical codes, regulations, and standards, including the Ethiopian Standard (ES) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards
• Proficiency in electrical engineering software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM PowerTools
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
