Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electrical power systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electrical power systems
• Conduct site visits to investigate electrical problems and provide solutions
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop and implement new electrical systems and technologies
• Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians

Requirements

• BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Ethiopian university
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a related industry
• Professional registration with the Ethiopian Engineering Council (EEC) is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electronics, and electrical power systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
