Job Title: Director, Strategy & Transformation

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and transformation
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategic plans with business objectives
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive change and implement strategic initiatives
• Develop and manage budgets to support strategic plans
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of strategic plans and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements

• MBA or Master’s degree in a related field (such as Business Administration, Strategic Management, or Economics) from a recognized Ethiopian or international university
• At least 8 years of experience in a strategic leadership role, with a proven track record of driving transformation and growth
• Strong understanding of the Ethiopian business environment and market trends
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Amharic and English is required; proficiency in other local languages is an advantage
• Certifications such as CSP, CSW, or equivalent are an added advantage
