Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain a clean and tidy environment
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and toilets
• Empty trash and recyclable materials, and replace liners
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Restock supplies, such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as cleaning windows and carpets, as needed
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities manager

Requirements

• Completion of grade 8 or equivalent from a recognized institution
• Proven experience as a cleaner or in a related field
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to communicate effectively in Amharic and/or English
