Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Jimma

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales team in Jimma. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve business objectives, while also providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in Jimma and surrounding areas
• Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, identifying new business opportunities and negotiating sales agreements
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and market conditions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing and product teams, to develop and implement sales and marketing campaigns
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a management role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams
• Strong knowledge of the Ethiopian market and industry trends, with a focus on the Jimma region
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach sales teams to achieve their full potential
• Proficiency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
• Willingness to travel frequently to Jimma and surrounding areas, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
