Job Title: Android Software Engineer, Quality Platform

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Android Software Engineer to join our Quality Platform team. As an Android Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and deliver solutions that meet our high standards of quality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Android applications, ensuring they are of high quality, reliable, and meet the required specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and QA to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code is of high quality, follows best practices, and is aligned with the company’s standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using debugging tools and techniques
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and processes
• Contribute to the development of our testing framework, ensuring that our applications are thoroughly tested and meet our quality standards

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Android app development, with a strong portfolio of published apps
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin programming languages, and experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
• Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, and UI Automator
• Knowledge of design patterns, principles, and best practices in Android development
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, and agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop creative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and knowledge of security best practices in Android development
