Job Title: Admin Assistant, Cashier & Storekeeper

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Assistant, Cashier & Storekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing cash transactions, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including preparing correspondence, reports, and other documents
  • Manage cash transactions, including receiving and processing payments, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking stock levels, monitoring inventory movements, and performing regular stock takes
  • Assist with storekeeping duties, including receiving and storing goods, managing stockroom operations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement effective filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and providing general support to the team

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a similar industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to work accurately and attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and customer service
  • Familiarity with Ethiopian labor laws and regulations, as well as industry-specific standards and practices
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
