Job Title: Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial guidance to management. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial planning and budgeting
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of taxes, salaries, and other financial obligations
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a managerial role
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
