Job Title: Accountant

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage and coordinate the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
• Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management and other departments, to achieve financial goals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification, such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Peachtree or QuickBooks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team
