Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial documents, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial guidance to management. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax laws and accounting standards
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management to inform business decisions
• Manage and maintain financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective financial management
• Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a similar industry
• Professional certification in accounting, such as CPA or ACCA, is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, including Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards
• Proficiency in accounting software, including Excel and other financial management systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
