Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electromagnetism. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test electrical systems, including electrical circuits, electronics, and electromagnetism
• Conduct site visits to inspect and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment
• Develop and implement electrical engineering projects, including planning, designing, and executing projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software engineers, and technicians
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Prepare and review technical reports, specifications, and other documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a related industry
• Professional certification, such as PE (Professional Engineer) or CE (Chartered Engineer), is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, electronics, and electromagnetism
• Experience with electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex electrical systems and identify solutions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
