Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective business development strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, including individuals, businesses, and institutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and negotiate deals to drive revenue growth
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and developments
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams, to develop and promote financial products and services
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a business development or relationship management role, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian financial markets, regulations, and industry trends
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Fluency in Amharic and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze market data and develop effective business strategies
