Job Title: Junior Hardware Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop hardware components and systems, including circuit boards, microcontrollers, and sensors
• Conduct testing and debugging of hardware components and systems to ensure they meet the required specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, quality assurance engineers, and manufacturing engineers
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and test reports
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies in hardware design and development

Requirements

• BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• 0-2 years of experience in hardware design and development, or a related field
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
• Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Altium, Eagle, or KiCad
• Experience with programming languages, such as C, C++, or Python
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
• Certifications, such as CEH or CCNA, are an added advantage
