Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician

Brief Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components and systems according to specifications and diagrams
• Test and inspect electrical systems and components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a recognized Ethiopian institution (e.g. TVET, College, or University)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, testing, and maintenance
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, including circuit analysis and electronics
• Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized equipment, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
• Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations, including those related to electrical systems and equipment
