Project Finance and Admin Officer

Brief Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Finance and Admin Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial and administrative aspects of our projects, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures, and providing support to the project team. Key Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, including budget preparation, monitoring, and reporting
• Process project-related financial transactions, such as invoices, payments, and reconciliation
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and implement effective administrative systems and procedures to support project implementation
• Provide administrative support to the project team, including travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and document management
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including project partners, vendors, and consultants

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized Ethiopian university
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project finance and administration, preferably in a similar organization or industry
• Professional certification in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA, is an advantage
• Proven knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and reporting
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English and Amharic is required; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage
