Job Title: Senior Banking Business Officer

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Banking Business Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business growth strategies, managing high-value client relationships, and leading a team of banking professionals to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business growth strategies to increase revenue and market share
• Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, including corporate and institutional customers
• Lead a team of banking professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop tailored solutions for clients
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including risk management, credit, and operations teams, to ensure seamless delivery of banking services
• Monitor and manage portfolio performance, ensuring that business objectives are met and risks are mitigated

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or a related field from a reputable Ethiopian university
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the banking industry, with at least 3 years in a senior management role
• Professional certification, such as CFA, CFP, or ACIB, is an added advantage
• Proven track record of driving business growth, managing high-value client relationships, and leading high-performing teams
• Strong understanding of Ethiopian banking regulations, laws, and industry standards
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively
• Fluency in English and Amharic, with knowledge of other local languages an added advantage
