\nTerms of Reference (ToR): Printing and Publication of the Digital Literacy Toolkit\/Manual<\/p>\n
1. Background<\/p>\n
The Center for Advancement of Rights and Democracy (CARD) is a board-led civil society organization registered under the Civil Societies Organizations Proclamation No. 1113\/2019 (Registry No. 4307). CARD envisions an Ethiopia where human rights are respected and democratic culture flourishes. The organization works to advance conducive civic, media, and digital spaces for the protection of human rights and the promotion of democratic values.<\/p>\n
With support from\u00a0Access Now, CARD is implementing the project\u00a0“Equitable Access to the Internet, Online Safety, and Digital Literacy.”\u00a0The project aims to enhance digital literacy, strengthen online safety, and promote responsible and rights-based digital engagement among youth, women, journalists, and human rights defenders.<\/p>\n
As part of the project, CARD has developed a\u00a0Digital Literacy Toolkit\/Manual\u00a0to serve as a practical resource during digital literacy and online safety training sessions and as a reference material for participants after the training. To facilitate its distribution and use, CARD seeks to engage a qualified printing service provider to print and publish the toolkit\/manual.<\/p>\n
2. Objective of the Assignment<\/p>\n
The objective of this assignment is to print and publish\u00a0200 high-quality copies\u00a0of the finalized Digital Literacy Toolkit\/Manual in accordance with CARD’s technical specifications and quality standards, ensuring that the manuals are durable, professionally produced, and ready for distribution during project activities.<\/p>\n
3. Scope of Work<\/p>\n
The selected service provider shall:<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Print\u00a0200 copies\u00a0of the finalized Digital Literacy Toolkit\/Manual using the print-ready files provided by CARD.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure high-quality color printing, accurate reproduction of text, graphics, and illustrations.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Produce professionally bound manuals that are durable and suitable for repeated use during training sessions.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure consistency in printing quality across all copies.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Package the printed manuals securely to prevent damage during transportation.<\/p>\n

4. Technical Specifications<\/p>\n
The service provider shall print the toolkit\/manual according to the following specifications:<\/p>\n

5. Deliverables<\/p>\n
The service provider shall deliver:<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Two hundred (200) professionally printed copies of the Digital Literacy Toolkit\/Manual in accordance with the agreed specifications.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Printed manuals free from printing defects, missing pages, binding defects, color inconsistencies, or formatting errors.<\/p>\n
\u25cf\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Delivery of all printed copies to CARD’s designated office.<\/p>\n
6. Duration of the Assignment<\/p>\n
The assignment shall commence upon signing of the agreement.<\/p>\n
The service provider shall complete printing and deliver all manuals within\u00a0a week\u00a0after receiving the final print-ready files from CARD.
