The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive risk management and compliance framework that aligns with the organization&#8217;s strategic objectives and regulatory requirements. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement risk management and compliance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessments and identify potential risks that could impact the organization&#8217;s operations, financial performance, and reputation<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and controls to minimize potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance and training to employees on risk management and compliance matters, and promote a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures, and identify areas for improvement<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with internal audit and external auditors to ensure that risk management and compliance processes are effective and aligned with industry best practices<\/li>\n<li>Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements, industry trends, and best practices, and advise the organization on the implications of these changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance, from a recognized Ethiopian university<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management and compliance, preferably in a banking, insurance, or financial services environment<\/li>\n<li>Professional certification in risk management or compliance, such as CRMA, CCEP, or similar, is an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Ethiopian regulatory requirements, including the National Bank of Ethiopia&#8217;s regulations and directives<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical expertise in risk management and compliance, with the ability to design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and controls<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in English and Amharic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines, and to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with
