\nRole Purpose<\/p>\n
The Manager \u2013 Quality Control is responsible for\u00a0ensuring product integrity, compliance with OEM standards, and customer satisfaction\u00a0by leading the quality assurance function across the automotive assembly plant. The role enforces\u00a0process discipline, defect prevention, and audit readiness, while driving\u00a0continuous improvement and Vehicle Turnaround Time (TAT) compliance\u00a0in production and inspection processes.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities \/ Key Result Areas (KRAs)<\/p>\n
Quality Assurance & Inspection
\nEstablish and enforce quality standards across assembly lines.
\nSupervise in-process and final inspections of vehicles.
\nEnsure compliance with technical specifications, safety norms, and OEM requirements.
\nDefect Prevention & Resolution
\nIdentify deviations, defects, and non-conformities in assembly.
\nImplement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
\nConduct root cause analysis and drive defect elimination initiatives.
\nVehicle TAT Enforcement
\nEnsure inspection and quality clearance are completed within defined Vehicle TAT.
\nCoordinate with production teams to minimize delays caused by quality issues.
\nEscalate systemic bottlenecks to Plant Head.
\nCompliance & Audit Readiness
\nEnsure adherence to ISO\/TS automotive quality standards.
\nMaintain transparent documentation for audits and certifications.
\nLiaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
\nCustomer Focus
\nEnsure defect-free vehicles are dispatched to customers.
\nSupport complaint resolution and warranty claim investigations.
\nProvide feedback to improve customer satisfaction.
\nTeam Leadership & Training
\nLead quality inspectors and auditors across assembly lines.
\nConduct training programs on quality standards and inspection techniques.
\nMonitor team performance and enforce discipline.
\nContinuous Improvement
\nDrive Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen initiatives for defect reduction.
\nBenchmark quality practices against industry standards.
\nIntroduce digital tools for quality monitoring and reporting.
\nAbout You
