DCA Ethiopia Office is looking for a competent Community Facilitator \/ EORE Trainer<\/p>\n

Position Objective<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The EORE Trainer’s purpose is to support the EORE officer in the implementation of EORE interpersonal, Victim Assistance, and NTS activities in the Afar region zone 2 DCA target woredas.<\/p>\n

Assist the EORE officer and team leader in the planning of EORE tasks when required.
\nProvide basic risk education to affected communities and recommend more advanced risk education intervention by the Risk Education team whenever needed.
\nExcellent in designing and adopting locally EORE IEC materials based on the IMAS standards
\nDeliver EORE ToT to CFPs
\nConduct explosive ordnance risk education activities and sessions as required.
\nEngagement<\/p>\n
In accordance with the DCA EORE Standard Operating Procedures, the Ethiopian National Technical Standards and Guidelines for EORE, and the EORE activity plan, the EORE Facilitator will perform the EORE & Victim Assistance activities, including targeting and identification of at-risk beneficiaries in the Afar region, zone 2 targeted woredas.
\nImplement and maintain appropriate Quality Management systems to ensure quality of EORE delivery.
\nBe familiar with and follow all safety SOPs in DCA Ethiopia and communicate any change in the security situation to the EORE Officer and DCA Access and Safety unit.
\nMaintain good communication with partner organizations.
\nDelivery<\/p>\n
Ensure timely delivery of information to beneficiaries, AoR members, and other relevant stakeholders.
\nAccountable for ensuring that all complaints raised by beneficiaries are logged into the complaint logbook.

\nJob Requirement<\/p>\n
Minimum Diploma in social science or tertiary education in any other relevant field will be a recommendation
\nAt least 3 years of proven experience in EORE implementation
\nCertificate\/Accreditation of participation in an EORE (or similar) Training
\nAbility to manage sensitive and confidential information.
\nPrevious experience in conducting interviews and surveys.
\nFluency in English and Amharic
\nExcellent planning and organizational skills.
\nExcellent communication skills.
\nExcellent ability to work in a team.
\nGood Knowledge of local communities in the Afar region is an advantage.
\nExcellent Computer skills
\nProficient in English language
