About The Role<\/p>\n
We are seeking a compassionate, patient-focused, and highly skilled Nurse to join our growing clinical team.<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Patient Assessment and care planning<\/p>\n
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including vital signs, physical condition, and pain.
\nIdentify patient needs and prioritize care accordingly.
\nEnsure all planned interventions are properly documented.
\nClinical care and procedures<\/p>\n
Performs radiology procedures as per standard protocols.
\nAssessing the diagnostic quality of the image.
\nTransfers post processed images to PACS\/DICOM. Burn to CD and Publish images.
\nAssists radiologists during specific procedures.
\nWorks on any of the imaging modalities (X-ray, Fluoroscopy, CT-Scan, and MRI)
\nComply with all ETA and AAFDA requirements.
\nMonitoring and Evaluation<\/p>\n
Identify complications or adverse reactions and take appropriate action with the team
\nEnsure timely reporting and escalation of critical patient conditions.
\nDaily check equipment listed on the inventory check list book.
\nPerforms daily quality control tests, and report incidents timely
\nUse equipment in compliance with all applicable safety requirements.
\nPatient safety and Infection Prevention<\/p>\n
Maintain a clean, safe and therapeutic environment.
\nEnsure safe handling of equipment and biohazard materials.
\nPromote patient safety by identifying and minimizing risks
\nAdvise diabetic patients who take metformin to hold taking it for 48 hours after intravenous contrast injection is given.
\nCommunication and Documentation<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient records.
\nProvide clear handover reports during shift changes
\nCommunicate effectively with physicians, radiologists and other healthcare professionals
\nEducate patients and families on the imaging procedure type, contrast, and post imaging care.
\nExplain and inform all patients about procedures before scanning.
\nResponds to patient and requesting clinician questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.
\nTeamwork and Professional Conduct<\/p>\n
Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and accountability.
\nMaintain respectful and compassionate relationships with patients and colleagues.
\nMaintains patient confidentiality.
\nParticipate in multidisciplinary teamwork and decision-making.
\nAttend meetings, training and continuous development (CPD) activities.
\nQuality Improvement and Compliance<\/p>\n
Participating in clinical audits, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
\nAdhere to hospital policies, procedures, and national health care regulations.
\nReport errors, incidents, and near misses according to protocol.
\nSupport implementation of clinical of clinical standards and guidelines.
\nOperational Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
\nCoordinate with Nursing, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments.
\nSupport patient flow, admissions, discharges, and referrals.
\nAssist in ensuring proper billing and documentation where required
\nN.B;\u00a0Additional duty may be assigned to different units or shifts(day\/night\/weekends) as required.<\/p>\n

\nQualifications, Knowledge & Skills<\/p>\n
\u2022 Degree Medical Radiology Technology
\n\u2022 Valid professional license to practice in Ethiopia.
\n\u2022 Minimum experience of 2 years.
\n\u2022 Training in advanced procedures.
\n\u2022 Experience of working in a healthcare institution with special emphasis on diagnostic imaging.
\n\u2022 Experience of working in an institution that is ISO certified will be an added advantage.
\n\u2022 Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
\n\u2022 Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies
\n\u2022 Experience in using radiology systems and information technology skills
\n\u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
\n\u2022 Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
\n\u2022 Experience with complex scheduling and coordination
