\nVacancy Announcement \u2013 Senior Accountant (Female)<\/p>\n
PANA DM Trading PLC is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Female Senior Accountant to join our Finance Department.<\/p>\n
Duty Station: Tulefa, Addis Ababa<\/p>\n
Preference: Applicants residing in or around Hayat, Tafo, CMC, Figa, or nearby areas are highly encouraged to apply due to the job location.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilitie:<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate accounting records using Peachtree (Sage 50).
\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
\nPerform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
\nSupervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and fixed assets.
\nEnsure accurate inventory and cost accounting.
\nPrepare and submit VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, Pension, and other statutory returns through the ERCA\/eTax system.
\nEnsure full compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and accounting standards.
\nSupport budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
\nCoordinate internal and external audits.
\nSupervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
\nPreference will be given to female candidates residing around Hayat, Tafo, 72 and surrounding area and nearby areas to ensure convenient commuting.
\nAbout You
\nQualifications<\/p>\n
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\nMinimum 3- 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or trading company.
\nStrong practical knowledge of Peachtree (Sage 50).
\nHands-on experience with ERCA\/eTax filing, including VAT, withholding tax, payroll tax, and other statutory tax submissions.
\nStrong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting.
\nExcellent Microsoft Excel skills.
