\nAn\u00a0Assistant Store Keeper\u00a0supports the Store Manager or Store Keeper in overseeing daily warehouse operations. They are responsible for accurately tracking raw materials, components, and finished goods, ensuring efficient inventory flow between the warehouse and the production floor, and maintaining strict safety and compliance standards.<\/p>\n
Detail Responsibilities<\/p>\n
1. Receiving and Dispatching<\/p>\n
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw materials and parts against delivery notes and purchase orders to verify quantity and quality.
\nSafely store items in designated warehouse zones based on material category, size, and weight.
\nIssue raw materials and supplies to the manufacturing and production teams based on authorized requisition forms.
\nPrepare finished goods for dispatch to customers or distributors, ensuring accurate packing and labeling.
\n2. Inventory Control and Documentation<\/p>\n
Maintain accurate, real-time stock records and update inventory databases or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
\nMonitor minimum stock levels and alert the Store Keeper when supplies are running low to prevent production downtime.
\nParticipate in regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
\nEnsure that the\u00a0First-In, First-Out (FIFO)\u00a0method is applied to prevent material spoilage or obsolescence.
\n3. Warehouse Safety and Maintenance<\/p>\n
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment, strictly restricting access to unauthorized personnel.
\nEnforce health and safety protocols (e.g., proper stacking, wearing Personal Protective Equipment, and handling hazardous materials correctly).
\nPerform routine inspections of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving units.

\nKey Requirements & Qualifications<\/p>\n
Education:\u00a0A Diploma or Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
\nExperience:\u00a01\u20133 years of experience in warehouse administration, inventory control, or logistics, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
\nTechnical Skills:\u00a0Proficiency in using\u00a0ERP systems\u00a0(e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and standard office software like Excel.
\nPhysical Ability:\u00a0Ability to lift heavy objects and perform the physical demands of loading\/unloading goods. [
