\nRoles & Responsibilities for an Audit Manager\u00a0–\u00a0Manufacturing<\/p>\n
Develop and implement audit plans for manufacturing units aligned with company policies and regulatory frameworks.
\nEnsure compliance with statutory requirements (taxation, labor laws, environmental standards, EHS regulations).
\nReview adherence to internal controls, SOPs, and financial reporting standards.
\nIdentify operational, financial, and compliance risks across production, procurement, and supply chain.
\nRecommend corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate risks.
\nMonitor fraud detection mechanisms and strengthen anti-fraud controls.
\nAudit manufacturing processes (procurement, materials management, QA, production, logistics).
\nEvaluate cost monitoring systems, wastage control, and resource utilization.
\nReview accuracy of financial statements, cost sheets, and inventory valuation.
\nAudit payroll, compensation, and statutory deductions for compliance.
\nEnsure transparency in capital expenditure and procurement contracts.
\nPrepare detailed audit reports with actionable insights for senior management and the Board.
\nPresent findings to Audit Committee and recommend policy changes.
\nEnsure timely follow-up on audit recommendations and track
