\nMajor Responsibilities
\nGeneral Ledger Management:\u00a0Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable daily.
\nTax Compliance:\u00a0Prepare and file all corporate taxes, VAT, withholding taxes, and payroll deductions in strict compliance with local tax laws.
\nPayroll Processing:\u00a0Manage monthly payroll calculation, disbursement, and ensure all statutory deductions are correctly applied.
\nAccounts Payable & Receivable:\u00a0Monitor aging reports, follow up on overdue client invoices, and schedule timely payments to vendors and subcontractors.
\nInternal Controls & Audits:\u00a0Maintain strict internal financial controls to prevent fraud and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors.<\/p>\n
About You
\nAcademic Requirements
\nDegree:\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a major in Accounting.
\nWork Experience
\nTotal Experience:\u00a0Minimum of 2 years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
\nSpecific Experience:\u00a0Hands-on experience managing general ledgers, tax compliance\/VAT filing, and payroll systems within the commercial or construction sector.
\nCore Skills Required
\nFinancial Software Proficiency
\nTax & Regulatory Knowledge:\u00a0understanding of local corporate taxation, labor laws, and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
\nData Integrity & Attention to Detail:\u00a0Exceptional accuracy in data entry, number crunching, and finding discrepancies.
\nEthical & Confidentiality Standards:\u00a0High integrity with a proven track record of handling sensitive financial information
