\nPosition Title:\u00a0Data Analyst<\/p>\n

Duty Station: HRNS ET Bahir Dar Field Office<\/p>\n
Reports To:\u00a0Field Office Coordinator (with a technical reporting line to the Field M&E Officer & Country Office MEAL Team)<\/p>\n
1. Core Technical Delivery<\/p>\n
Familiarize with HRNS-Ethiopia program objectives and scope to support effective implementation.
\nContribute to field monitoring, supervision, and data collection activities, including training and operational support to project teams.
\nSupport the development of data-driven strategies to improve project performance and operational efficiency.
\nProvide technical support and online assistance to development agents and project staff on data use and management.
\n2. M&E and CommCare Data Management<\/p>\n
Use Commcare for the project real data collection and analysis,
\nMonitor data quality and implement improvements to data collection processes.
\nSupport and capacitate field staff, DAs and YAIG leaders\/facilitators on the use of Commcare
\nAnalyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights for informed decision-making.
\nDevelop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
\nConduct statistical analyses to support planning, validation, and evidence-based decision-making.
\nSupport project evaluations (baseline, midline, endline) and other assessments in coordination with the Country Office MEAL team.
\nIdentify data system requirements and challenges and propose solutions for improved data management.
\nPerform regular data backups to ensure secure storage and archiving project information.
\n3. Reporting and Visibility<\/p>\n
Produce activity progress reports, quarterly reports, and annual reports as required.
\nRecord and document success stories, challenges, lessons learned, and gender-related insights for reporting and knowledge sharing.
\nSupport preparation of periodic reports (field monitoring, data analysis, and evaluation outputs) to inform stakeholders and improve visibility.
\n4. Compliance & Stakeholder Coordination<\/p>\n
Ensure adherence to data management standards, protocols, and project requirements.
\nProvide training and capacity building to staff on data analysis tools and proper data management practices.
\nCollaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to strengthen data systems and ensure alignment with project objectives
\nResponsibility for assigned adhoc duties:\u00a0Perform other duties that may be assigned by the\u00a0Filed Office Coordinator.

Education<\/p>\n
BSc in IT, computer science, or related fields.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
\nKnowledge of computers and networks, knowledge of software and hardware.
\nExcellent oral and written English communication skills.
\nGood communication skill and ability to prepare progress reports.
